Fulham - A Magnificent Stoke Gesture!

Fulham - A Magnificent Stoke Gesture!

Having previously been to the Britannia Stadium in Stoke, and witnessed just how cold it can be, and that was on an Autumn day, those Fulham supporters who ventured north for our recent 3-2 defeat have my admiration.

With the country gripped by a mini Arctic ice-age, it still amazes me that the game went ahead, let alone that a hardy band of Cottagers managed to get there.

Obviously the club thinks so as well as it has been announced that the club will be writing to every single Fulham supporter who made the trip in such appalling weather, a fact that has prompted Roy Hodgson to remark, about the Fulham support,

"We have some of the best fans in the country."

We know that Roy but we`d also like to say that those who run the club are a very decent bunch as well after reading about this splendid gesture.

Very nice of the club. I'd like to see Chelsea do something like that!
