Fulham - Briggs Out on Loan!

News has reached us that one of our promising youngsters has gone out on loan.

Matthew Briggs, who has played for England at U18 and U20 levels, has moved across London to join Leyton Orient on a loan deal.

Briggs, will remain at Brisbane Road until 13th February and the Orient manager, Geraint Williams, is obviously impressed with his capture, commenting,

'We go out to watch Premier Reserve League games on a regular basis and Matthew has always impressed us."

'He's a left sided defender who is comfortable on the ball and we feel that with his mobility he will add to our defensive options, giving competition for the defenders already at the club.'

We`d like to wish Matthew well on his spell away from craven Cottage.
