The Madness of Lawrie Sanchez

The Madness of Lawrie Sanchez

And so he has gone.

The final remnant of the poor quality brought to the club by Lawrie Sanchez which culminated in the club reaching it's lowest point in about 12 or so years has finally departed.

This article is not written to criticise Seol Ki-Hyeon, it is written with the intent to remind everyone of an era in which we cannot allow to happen again.

The madness behind the deal in swapping an up and coming full back for a winger who had failed to previously impress in the Premier League and offering him a fairly large contract seemed obvious from the minute the signing was announced and it became a desperate situation with Seol rarely kicking a ball, albeit for a brief period at the start of the 08/09 season.

Thankfully, Roy has turned the tide and hopefully we never get into a situation again where the club is essentially wasting precious cash on players who sadly aren't to the level required.

What has happened to the 'dirty one' anyway? Can't imagine he'd be able to get a job managing a chip shop let alone a football club after the mess he made at Fulham

Wiki hasn't come up with any results, so, I'm assuming Lawrie was denied that chip shop job after applying...

Seol Ki-Hyeon was decent at Wolves - The problem was that your board didn't appreciate that Lawrie Sanchez had a lousy Football League record with Wycombe (cup games aside).
