Fulham - Okaka Switch Nears Completion!

It`s one that has been rumbling on quite merrily for a few days or so now and one transfer that looks close to completion.

Reports are coming out of Italy that Stefano Okaka will be signing on the dotted line, at Craven Cottage, on Monday.

Apparently, the deal is for six months with Fulham having the option of extending it for a further six months next season.

His agent, Domenico Scopelliti, has quashed reports that terms have failed to be agreed remarking,

'Everything is okay."

'Fulham want the lad and Okaka wants Fulham. On Monday he will fly to London. There has been no problems regarding the financial aspect with Fulham."

'The only delay has been due to a fax or an email that we were supposed to receive. Okaka will join Fulham for six months with an option that Fulham can exercise to extend the loan deal for a further 12 months."

'This was crucial as it would allow the player more time to adapt.'

All that remains to be seen is what kind of impact Okaka has in the Premier League!

Apparently there was an email problem causing the delay. Technology these days!

I think he won't be prolific, youngsters like that rarely are, but, he'll offer us something different and I reckon he'll cause a stir.

might be ok this one roy can bring him on
truth sayer ffc
Roy will do a sterling job at making him flourish!
KBFulham
he might take six weeks or so to adapt to the power and pace of the Premier League but I reckon he'll be a good asset!
Al Billy
If he's as powerful as he looks then some defenders are in for a shock!
Fulham Badger
will he be a deffo starter if everyone is fit though!
Putney
I spose I would doubt that Putney, depending on how AJ does over the next few weeks though...
kbfulham
he scores against us, a header i believe, so he might be able to deal with the power and pace here...
