James Corden Becomes Latest Celebrity to 'Back the Bid'
James Corden has become the latest big name to show his footballing passion for the England cause by putting his support behind the England 2018 World Cup Bid.
The Gavin & Stacey star, and massive West Ham United fan, joined an ever growing list of famous faces that have backed the Bid including rock legend Noel Gallagher, Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button, NBA superstar Luol Deng, pop group JLS and England captain John Terry.
James, who can regularly be found at Upton Park watching his beloved Hammers, is a huge football supporter and so is as keen as any fan to see the World Cup come to England in 2018.
He said:
'Having the World Cup in England in 2018 would be amazing. We just love football in this country and I can imagine how brilliant the tournament would be, a fantastic buzz of excitement would be created and football fervor would really grip the entire nation.'
'We`ve already got so much in place with so many amazing stadiums but most of all we have an unrivalled passion for the game. I`m a proud supporter of the England 2018 Bid and would encourage all football fans to log on to www.England2018bid.com to register their support as well.'
