Fulham - Polish Defender Linked!

The Daily Grapevine has clicked back into life this morning!

After being a little on the quiet side, for all of three or four hours, its come up with another supposed candidate for a Fulham purchase.

This time, according to the Daily Grapevine, Fulham are looking to bolster their central defensive options by lining up a £1 million bid for the Polish defender, Kamil Gilk.

Gilk, who is twenty-three, currently plays for Paist Gilwice and at six feet three inches tall, he looks to have been honed out of the same mould that provided us with Brede Hangeland.

We`re not sure though of the accuracy of the rumour but it`ll do no harm to see if anything comes from it, will it?

dont think we need him

Former Real Madrid, right? I think it's worth a punt at £1 million. He may just be one of Roy's buys that gets upset over lack of action though...

It's Kamil Glik, and yep, he had a relatively short stint with Real Madrid. We only have three full-fledge central defenders and Baird as an emergency fill-in. A little extra cover would be nice.

especially if we get into the old fixture congestion scenario!

I agree. I've heard of the lad, which, in my book makes him worth it!

This could be another good signing but i really hope smallings gets a good run out too

i think smalling is still preferred... he's really coming on, and i don't think roy would stifle him...
