Fulham v Portsmouth - Called Off!

Fulham v Portsmouth - Called Off!

And so it came to pass that the ice-age that descended upon earth, in the early days of 2010, would have serious ramifications.

It was decreed that things were so severe that those in charge were not prepared to risk the health of their loyal support, instead condemning us to seek fresh pastures to eliminate boredom.

Instead of hiking through the snow and ice and running the risk of encountering the odd polar bear or two in Bishops Park, we`ll all probably end up going shopping instead of watching Fulham v Portsmouth!

The official line, issued by the Artic Police Militia Guard reads,

"The safety of supporters is of paramount importance to the club."

'Following an inspection of the areas surrounding Craven Cottage on Friday morning it was deemed unsafe for fans.'

Right! Who is for joining me down the Frozen Duck for a pint or two tomorrow afternoon?

I dunno about a winter break. You can never guarantee when the cold will come about, which could result in well more than one weeks rest.
