Fulham - Murphy Wary of Unwanted Hat-Trick!

Fulham - Murphy Wary of Unwanted Hat-Trick!

The Premier League programme gets put on hold this weekend as the magic of the 3rd round of the FA Cup takes centre stage.

On paper, Fulham have been given a relatively easy home tie against Swindon Town.

But, the FA Cup has a habit of producing the odd shock or two and our skipper, Danny Murphy, is only too aware of the perils that lie ahead.

Danny, speaking about previous giant-killings, is on a hat trick and is keen not to be humbled at this stage, commenting,

'I've lost with Liverpool to Crystal Palace when they were a division below, which was not a nice feeling."

'When I was at Charlton, we lost at home to Leicester in a latter round as well."

'It does happen, but we've got to be on our mettle because whoever plays on the day can't think it's going to be an easy game."

'We'll make sure we're ready. You've seen from our level of performance this season that we don't take anyone lightly.'

Come on Fulham how about a decent FA Cup run this season!
