Fulham - Murphy Praised by Hodgson!

Fulham - Murphy Praised by Hodgson!

After getting the show on the road, against Manchester United, with a stunning long range goal, our club captain gets the chance, today, to put one over on a former club.

Danny Murphy had a spell at White Hart Lane whereby thing didn`t always go to plan, eventually he ended up at Craven Cottage where his skills have been nurtured and used for the benefit of our team.

There`s no doubt that Danny will be looking forward to the game this afternoon and with this endorsement from Roy Hodgson, ringing in his ears, he might give us the sort of performance that`ll end in three points for us,

"Danny had a couple of spells where he did not get into a team and moved sideways - away from the fierce limelight. "

"He must be very pleased that over the past two years he has really shown what a good, consistent player he is."

"People come to me and sing his praises now, which he must be pleased about as three or four years ago that was not happening."

Fulham to win and Murphy to score anyone?
