Fulham - Johnson Injury Setback!

Any hopes us Fulham supporters had of thinking Andrew Johnson may contribute to our possible progression into the knockout stages of the Europa League suffered a blow yesterday.

It appears that Andrew has suffered a slight reaction to his recent operation and his much awaited comeback has been delayed until, possibly, the weekend fixture against Manchester United.

Speaking about the situation Roy Hodgson had this to say,

He`ll be having treatment back home. We`re hoping it`s to do with the scar tissue from the recent operation, rather than any problem with the pelvic area."

"He`s been so anxious to get back into the fray that sometimes we`ve gone along with him."

"I don`t think it is a major problem. A movement has caused him a sharp pain and we`ve decided to rest him."

I think you`ll agree it`s better to be safe than sorry!
