Fulham - Strongest Available XI for Wednesday?

The early indications are that Roy Hodgson intends to keep us all guessing with regards his side as our Europa League Group campaign approaches its climax in Basel.

With Fulham needing to win to ensure qualification for the knockout stages and therefore be in the draw at UEFA HQ this Friday, the implications are that bar those who are suspended, Roy`s starting eleven will be ready for action, although with the tempting prospect of a home fixture against Manchester United fast approaching the actual starting eleven could be difficult to guess.

There`s even the prospect of Andrew Johnson being available to bolster the front line.

Here`s what Gentleman Roy had to say on the subject,

"If we win we go through to the last thirty-two."

Which sounds intriguing until you dig another quote out which says,

"Going through in this competition isn`t of vital importance."

"Unfortunately we have three players suspended - Paul Konchesky, Jonathan Greening and Erik Nevland. But, on the plus side, Andrew Johnson may be able to play a part."

"We have come through a difficult game at Burnley. Bobby Zamora had a slight back problem at half time which is no surprise considering the physical battering he takes."

"But he should be okay for Basel on Wednesday."

A Wednesday! And there was I thinking that these games were Thursday clashes, or was that only whilst the Champions League dominated the European stage?
