Fulham - Hodgson Reflects - Burnley (a)

After yet another year passes by without a Fulham win up at Turf Moor, Roy Hodgson had good reason to be happy with a point.

On another day, and if we`d taken our chances better, that would have been our reward.

But, in his post match interview, Roy had plenty to reflect on remarking,

"I was disappointed we didn`t score in the first half, but it was a good game. Up here Burnley benefit from the crowd (are you sure Roy, they get less than us at home!) and that has an effect on everyone including the ref, because he`s only human, so we knew we`d have to ride the storm a little."

"Zamora scored another great goal but I never touted him to play for England. I`ve been a national coach in Switzerland, the UAE and Finland and one of the things I hated most was club coaches telling me who to pick."

"When we have other strikers back too, we`ll be dangerous."

Can anyone clear a small matter up once and for all for me?

With all this touting of Zamora for England do his connections with Trinidad and Tobago not sort of rule him out?

Burnley are a real surprise package this season, a draw there is no disgrace. Interesting how hard they are to beat there but how hopeless they appear to be on the road!

let's get 'em... i think they're not quite as good away as home, and we need to kill of these promoted sides... in terms of bobby for england, i don't think he ever played for T&T, so i think he's still eligble...
