Fulham - Former Accomplice Looking for New Club!

Fulham - Former Accomplice Looking for New Club!

Does anyone remember Giles Barnes?

We ran the rule over him for a lengthy period before deciding that he`d not be suitable, mainly through injury, for Fulham Football Club.

Well today we learn that Giles has had his contract with Derby County cancelled by mutual consent after not featuring for Derby this season after injuring an Achilles in a friendly.

On announcing the release, the good folk of Derby announced,

"We believe it is in the interests of both player and the club that he moves on to pursue a new challenge."

Here at Vital Fulham we`d like to wish Giles well and we can only hope that he overcomes this persistent run of injuries to show the football world what a fine talent he is!

Real shame as i think he was a brilliant prospect. Good luck giles and i really hope to see you playing again. Hopefully not for that lot up the road as i would then be gutted....

Yeh, this seems to be a chronic issue with his achilles. Hate it for the lad, but I'm afraid his career is in jeopardy.
