Fulham - Yet More Konchesky Nonsense!

Fulham - Yet More Konchesky Nonsense!

First the tabloid press were reporting that Sunderland might be sniffing around Paul Konchesky now they`ve come up with another destination.

A leading red-top is, this morning, suggesting that Alex McLeish, at Birmingham City, is considering a bid to lure our left back away.

The price quoted is a mere £750,000 which beggar`s belief when you consider what Paul brings to a side and what a decent replacement would cost.

Just like with the Sunderland bid, we`ll suggest this is a bit of a no-go from the start!

Unless we're planning some left back shopping this January, there's no way this is happening - and certainly not for £750,000. You'd have to at least triple that number.

How long does he have on his contract? Paul is such an important player for us, 750K would be a joke....

here's the thing, if we can upgrade him, then by all means do it... but there isn't exactly a glut of left backs in the league, which makes the 750,000 asking price laughable...
