Fulham - Bullard`s Antics?

Now I know Jummy Bullard will never exactly be flavour of the month with the Fulham support, especially after the manner in which he chose to leave, but he did bring a smile to my face last night with just what has to be the best goal celebration of the season so far.

Playing for his new pay-masters Hull City, away to Manchester City, Jimmy stroked home a penalty with his usual aplomb to give Hull a share of the spoils.

Running to the Hull supporters behind the goal he`d just scored in he turned and beckoned his fellow Hull players towards them.

When they arrived he promptly ordered them all to sit down and gave them a right old finger-wagging telling off just like his boss, Phil Brown, had done when, last season, Hull were getting thrashed by City and Brown chose to conduct his half time team talk on the pitch in much the same manner as Jimmy celebrated.

Now we`re not sure what Brown thought of it at the time but if there was any anger it had dissipated by the time the match was over and Bullard and Brown were all smiles.

Don`t you miss our Jimmy just a little bit?

i think we have moved on and are a better team with out him as we relied on him too much and when he was out we stugeled now we get players out a nd still get relalts but he was a cheeky chap

I think he was the perfect player for the Great Escape - and he is the perfect player for Hull at the moment. His energy and love of the game stops the team playing with fear of relegation and gets the team to just enjoy playing football. HE just accepts responsibility and allows other players to play with more freedom. I am sure everyone at Hull can't wait to get to training this week - even in the cold and rain - because of what he has brought to the team. Having said that, I think Fulham out grew him! For all the things he brings a struggling team means the game plan revolves round him. He was taking too much of the play and not allowing our game plan to grow. He was a big part of us staying up, so I will always thank him for that. He is great for the game, and perfect for Hull. But Roy moving him on for £5m was a master stroke and perfect timing.

We're better without him, but that doesn't mean he's not a perfect player for a team like Hull, who are in a very similar situation to the one we faced two season ago. I thought it was great celebration.

it was great to see and I wish him well!
