Fulham - Perfect Start to the Weekend!

Fulham - Perfect Start to the Weekend!

Finally it looks as it the concerns relating to the contract position of Roy Hodgson are going to be swept away by one fell swoop from a fountain pen.

Gentleman Roy is set to sign a deal that will secure his Fulham future after negotiations to extend his stay have proved fruitful.

Discussing the situation, Roy has remarked,

"I spoke to the chairman and it wasn`t a difficult decision."

"It seems everyone`s keen for me to say and I`ve always made it clear that I`m happy - I`m enjoying my job here."

"So really it`s just a question now of putting the contract discussions we`ve had on to paper. The job here will keep me on a rolling contract."

Also, Roy gave the broadest hint yet that our Norwegian centre half, Brede Hangeland, is also on the verge of putting his own biro to a new contract when he commented,

"It`s been sorted out. My information is that he will sign very, very shortly."

"If I`m going to stay I`m also hoping that some of these players who have worked with me and given us the success we`ve had are going to stay as well."

The news can only be described as the perfect start to the weekend.

Well done lads.
