Fulham - Birmingham Away - Your Top Dog Was?

Who earned so personal acclaim in a sad loss?

Now I`m not saying it was wet up at St Andrews but I was tempted to put Captain Pugwash in amongst the candidates for our obligatory man-of-the-match poll. And please no jokes about Master Bates and Seaman Staines!

With the side shorn of several usual starters due to illness and injury, Saturday, in the Birmingham monsoon season gave somebody the chance to step forward and make a name for themselves, but did they?

Do we have a surprise winner of our man-of-the-match poll or has it gone to one of the usual collective of players that always seems to dominate such affairs?

Putting you out of your misery, the player who polled the highest percentage of votes was Clint Dempsey with 68% of the vote, followed by, way off in the distance, a whole host with 6% of the vote including, Konchesky, Hangeland, Davies and Zamora.

An agreeable verdict or has it surprised you?
