Fulham - Another Baggie Linked to Us!

Are we twinned with West Brom?

Do we have some sort of deal going whereby we get first refusal on any of their players who are no longer comfortable wearing the striped shirts?

After Jonathan Greening, Diomansy Kamara and Zoltan Gera, we now find ourselves, linked in the weekend tabloids with Robert Koren.

Apparently Koren has had a spat with the West Brom boss, Roberto Di Matteo, and there could be a parting of the ways with Roy Hodgson keen to bolster the ex-Hawthorns Social Club now situated at Craven Cottage.

Whether there is any substance in the rumours remains to be seen but, suffice to say, what concerns me is that if you fill your squad with players that are linked to a club that flirts with relegation from the Premier League one season and then promotion from the Championship the next, is there a chance you could end up in the same situation?

No, it's all down to management ;)

i don't necessarily agree that we'll be doomed to the yo-yo effect if we continue down this road, but at the same time, i don't want koren... our track record of west brom players is ok, not great... kamara's a 3rd striker, gera's has not appeared to be a starter, and greening is cover and no more... move on to better players...

I think we've met our quota for average, Championship-calibre players. He's an attacking mid that doesn't score very much. I think we're covered in that area.

to be fair these players have done ok and would slot into most sides it is down to manegment and if roy dose not know a good player then know one dose these players are all good cover and will in time come into there own

I'd like to see Di Matteo poached for when Roy decides to move upstairs!
Al Billy
I reckon Di Matteo is shoe horned for a top, top job, just something about the guy!
Fulham Badger
not sure if he'll stay here orf go back to Italy though!
Fulham Badger
