Fulham - Hodgson on Wigan Point!

Fulham - Hodgson on Wigan Point!

What`s going on Roy?

Everyone knows that after winning the Manager of the Month award things are supposed to spiral out of control and you`re supposed to suffer an embarrassing defeat!

But I suppose drawing is half way there!

Speaking after the 1-1 draw, at the DW Stadium, Roy was positively beaming about grabbing a point and reflecte don the week that we`d all just experienced, commenting,

"I am very pleased with the point after the week we have had."

"We had the excitement and pressure of beating Liverpool and the grave disappointment in Rome. Wigan are a good team and we were 1-0 down early, the team has shown a lot of character and a lot of determination and we have to be happy with a draw."

But he also had a few words for our keeper, remarking,

"Mark Schwarzer pulled off some spectacular saves."

Not as out-spoken as after the AS Roma debacle but then again it was only ever going to be a run-of-the-mill Premier League game was it not?

yep... we certainly could have done better, but we also could have easily done worse... if we win our game in hand, we're sitting in seventh...

I still don't think we're playing that well, but we're getting the results that we need. November and early December fixtures are there for the taking. A good run could see us move comfortably into the top half.
