Fulham - Hodgson Contract Offer?

Fulham - Hodgson Contract Offer?

Rumours that have seen Roy Hodgson linked with a move ot manage a Scandinavian national team seem to have prompted Fulham to finally get around to sorting out a new contract for Roy Hodgson.

Our sources suggest that a new deal is being discussed although, this morning, a prominent tabloid carries an article that carries the implication that Roy is mindful of the club standing still and has used the following quote to back it up.

"The team has come on a long way. But when you`re at the highest level you have to run to keep still."

"The moment you relax teams will fly by you."

So are we to assume that for Roy to stay the club has to show the same ambition as him, that seventh position in the league is only just the start of things to come?

Let`s hope so!
