Fulham - Konchesky Prefers Premier Referees!

After being the second Fulham player to receive a red card in the Olympic Stadium, in Rome, Paul Konchesky has had a word or two to say about referees.

The popular left back reckons that Europa League referees are second rate compared to those that go about their business in the Premier League.

Ahead of the fixture with Wigan Athletic, Paul, talking to the media, had this to say about the appalling referee we had in Rome,

"The decisions he made out there were a disgrace We wouldn`t have seen that in the Premier League."

"Even for a tackle like Erik`s - that`s just normal in our league and he got a red card. It ruined the game.

"We`ve got the best referees really. If the ref had given me a yellow card I would have taken it but two red cards killed the game."

I can`t help thinking Paul might have something else to say though if he`s red-carded in the Premier League soon!
