Fulham - Gaffer Scoops The Prize!

Fulham - Gaffer Scoops The Prize!

Our congratulations, here at Vital Fulham go to our gaffer, the marvelous Roy Hodgson, who has just been named manager of the month.

Roy picks up the Barclays Manager of the Month accolade, for October, after steering Fulham unbeaten through the month.

Fine victories against Hull City and Liverpool, coupled with a decent draw against Manchester City when coming back from 2-0 behind and a creditable draw at Upton Park when we were down to ten men saw Roy beat off all opposition.

It is the third time Roy has won the award but the first time as Fulham gaffer, his previous two awards were back in 1997 when he was in charge at Blackburn Rovers.

Try not to leave it another 12 years before winning it again Roy!
