Dempsey on the Fulham Spirit!

After participating in the Confederations Cup in the summer, with the USA, and coming close to winning it, Clint Dempsey is a player keen to continue to make an impact.

His form, in the Confederations Cup, possibly tempted a few clubs to enquire about his services but Dempsey has remained loyal to Fulham and ahead of the Europa League clash with AS Roma has spoken about the spirt in the squad and the desire, within the squad, to do well in the competition, commenting,

"The spirit is good, everybody is chipping in with goals and everybody is working hard. The main focus is the league but you don`t work so hard not to go as far as you can in the competition."

"Games like this are great, wherever you are form. I`m just enjoying my football."

And if Dempsey is enjoying his football that`s good news all round as far as I`m concerned.
