'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - MOTM v Liverpool!

Before we give the titanic battle in Rome against AS Roma, in the Europa League, it`s time to put the lid on a marvelous Saturday afternoon when little old Fulham slay mighty Liverpool.

It was one of those afternoons you just dream about and will live long in the memory. Therefore it`s probably a little churlish to have to pick one hero from the cast of thirteen that exploited a chink in the Liverpool armour.

But these deeds have to be done and the time has come to announce who you voted for as the top three Fulham performers in that historic 3-1 victory over the slipping Merseyside giants.

With much further ado, the results are:-

1st - Bobby Zamora - 50%

2nd - Clint Dempsey - 17%

3rd - Erik Nevland - 10%

Did the Fulham faithful get the verdict right?
