Fulham - Hodgson on Liverpool Victory!

The head is s till thumping but a little bit of alcohol abuse is always welcomed after a result like we earned yesterday!

For once Fulham got the run of the ball at crucial times, something that hasn`t always happened this season.

In fact, our season, courtesy of the result yesterday, is starting to blossom with Roy Hodgson commenting,

"On occasions this season, we have not always got the results that our performances have deserved."

"We were not at our best in the first half - but we married things together and in the end were worthy winners."

We certainly were and the cries of we want four were something I thought I`d not hear when we play against Liverpool.

Before the season started there were fears that our participation in the Europa League might affect our Premier League placing but it doesn`t appear to be the case.

Roy Hodgson has marshalled affairs fantastically and commented in his post match interview yesterday,

"I`m very pleased how the season has started because at the beginning I was worried that with the extra exertions of playing in Europe, our squad might have started to become stretched."

"But the signs so far are good - but we cannot afford to be complacent."

With Roy around can you really see the guys getting complacent?

well said roy now we have a dam good squad they all want a peice of the action fed up with rafa moaning how many players he had missing for a big club when we had 5 or 6 players out should change his name to winger and as for the red cards he should go to spec savers

what a victory! man of the match performance from bobby... class finish from nevland... and a well taken goal by dempsey to put the game to bed... liverpool can moan, but we were up 2-1 before degen's questionable red card... carragher on the other hand was flirting with getting booked all game, and did what he had to do to stop bobby from going on goal by himself... as for rafa, it's easy for a defender to get a boot to the ball when he was both arms wrapped around the forward running by him... please, don't embarrass yourself... lesson learned by liverpool, don't come to the cottage with your squad team, or you'll leave with no points...

if Saturday afternoon was good then Saturday night, celebrating, was awesome!

lets see if we can still play as well against the lesser clubs and not take them to lightly
