'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Harsh But True!

Not having the financial muscle, anymore, to follow Fulham all that often on the road, I tend to follow games via the excellent BBC Radio feed.

Often, even when I`ve been to a home game I`ll tune in the PC to the site to see what comments have been left.

Quite often they are of a humorous nature as supporters across the country lament a poor performance given by their team, yesterday though, I was a little saddened by a few posts left by disgruntled Liverpool supporters.

Smacking of arrogance they implied that they knew their side was in trouble when even Bobby Zamora got to score against them!

Perhaps, they should have a simple reality check and look at their bench yesterday! The names on it suggested to me, straight away, that although Steven Gerrard and the rest of them harp on about winning a Premier League title, that bench doesn`t hold a candle to those teams that will go on and really contest the title!

Get my drift?

I didn't know most of the lads on the bench! And players like Babel, Lucas, Degen, Kyrgiakos and Voronin are'nt exactly the cream of the crop! Rafa should face the music, Liverpool is mediocre at best without Gerrard and Torres. But splendid performance by us yesterday! COYW!

i feel like i've said this after the past two games, but now that he's put two in in the last three? matches, bobby really is in a rare stretch of form... he was the man on the match for me, and he creates so well... and i think rafa's squad players are quality, it's just that he's a bad coach... look at some of their reputations before they came in, and look at what they do now... big difference...
