Fulham - Davies Bouncing Back!

With Liverpool arriving at Craven Cottage this weekend, Roy Hodgson may see his squad bolstered by the return of an old favourite.

Simon Davies, who hasn`t played this season after suffering a foot injury at the back end of last season, looks set to be declared fit enough to return to the squad.

Davies, who recently underwent a second operation to remove some floating material in the area of his original injury, will be a welcome addition to the squad with Roy Hodgson recognising that his guile and wide play could be a positive factor.

Welcome back Simon.

Glad to see him back, but as a pure wing, I don't see that there's room for him, unless you bring Dempsey up to be a withdrawn forward, and move Duff to the left, so Davies can play on the right. That would mean that Kamara would likely go back to the bench. Honestly, I wouldn't mind Riise getting the nod over Davies, if it comes to that. I think he's earned it.
