Fulham - Zamora Gets the Credit!

Following on from his second goal of the season, a total that matches his Premier League return last season, Bobby Zamora reaped the accolades from the Fulham boss, Roy Hodgson.

In his mandatory post match interview Hodgson mentioned the fact that he`d let Zamora talk to Hull in the summer but seemed more than grateful that Zamora had decided to stay.

Hodgson also rounded on those who continually blight Zamora`s goals per game ration when he remarked,

"Bobby wants to score goals, I just want results. If you could tell me I could win every game 1-0 from now on but Bobby didn`t score another goal I`d be happy."

"I`m delighted he scored but he`s also an influential member of the team, holding up the ball and being our target, he brings people into the match."

"He scored one, made on and brought three good saves out of the keeper."

I`m not quite sure if 1-0 to the Fulham has the same ring to it as the more traditional 1-0 to the Arsenal chant!

Zamora played great. Still have mixed feelings about him as a starter, but he delivered yesterday.

He played very well. As did Chris Baird.
AlexFFC
Yes. Baird filled in for Etuhu admirably.
Teddy_KGB
wouldn't have had Baird down as a capable midfielder but he's won me over!
Al Billy
I just wish he was more prolific though!
