Fulham - A Legend Will Not Be In the House!

Fulham - A Legend Will Not Be In the House!

I`m probably not alone in suggesting that the one Europa League tie I was looking forward to was the visit of AS Roma to Craven Cottage.

It`s a far more glamorous looking tie than those against Sofia and Basle, it pits us against a Serie A side that, recently, were regular Champions League combatants.

I was looking forward to seeing one player in particular, the legend that is Francesco Totti, a player who has been operating at the top level for over a decade.

Sadly, it looks as if I`m going to be disappointed, Totti, it looks increasingly likely, will not be playing at Craven Cottage.

The thirty-three year old has been ruled out of the Serie A game Roma have with Milan and the indications are that the knee injury he picked up will keep him out of action for a t least a further week.

I guess it makes our task that little bit easier but then again it deprives us of the opportunity to watch a great, of his era, in operation.

Looking at the Serie A table Roma are currently 11th with 11 points from 8 games, we are currently 12th with 10 points from 8 games, I think this could be lot closer than people think, coyw
