Fulham - Davies Back for November?

Fulham - Davies Back for November?

After missing the back end of last season with a foot injury, it was hoped that Simon Davies would return to action early this season.

Sadly, that hasn`t proven to be the case with Davies making only a fleeting appearance in the first team so far.

Wondering why the Welshman had apparently disappeared from the scene, it transpires that Davies has returned to theatre have a minor operation on the same foot, an operation that should see him back in first team action by the start of November.

Speaking about the operation Davies has remarked on the official web site,

'They took out a loose bit of bone, next I'm getting the stitches taken out.'

'Hopefully I'll be able to start running over the weekend and crack on with training next week."

'If all goes to plan I should be back and available by the end of the month, hopefully I will only miss two or three games at the most. It's been frustrating but it's just one of those things.'

Is it a coincidence that our stuttering form has occurred during the Welshman`s absence?
