Fulham - Too Nice for Our Own Good!

I can`t help thinking that one of the so-called big four would have been so gracious in accepting the three match ban a red card can bring.

Sir Alex, for one, would have been criticising all and sundry, whilst Chelsea would have had an appeal lodged almost instantaneously and Arsenal would be obliged to seeing as Arsene Wenger never saw the incident in the first place, but at Craven Cottage we tend to do things with more decorum.

We might have all thought that the red card Kagisho Dikgacoi received was a little harsh after his tangle with Scott Parker but we`ve willingly, almost graciously, accepted the three game ban with the offender remarking,

'We won't appeal the red card because I'm told according to the rules you can't put your hand above someone's chest towards the neck, which is what I did during that incident. But I have to start all over again because three matches is a long time out.'

I sometimes wish we weren`t so damn nice don`t you?
