Fulham - Duff on Comeback Trail!

Fulham - Duff on Comeback Trail!

After missing the thrilling 2-2 draw between the Republic of Ireland and current World Cup holders, Italy, Damien Duff has turned to training.

Duff, signed by Fulham from Newcastle in the summer transfer window, looks set to return for the Republic of Irelands crucial Group Eight fixture with Montenegro in Wednesday evening, a fixture that will see the Irish dreams of World Cup qualification either move a step nearer of fade away into oblivion.

We wish Damien and the Republic of Ireland well.
