Fulham - Dempsey Misses USA Game!

It`s sad to see our American international, Clint Dempsey, having to pull out of the USA squad.

Clint had been scheduled to partake in the forthcoming fixture against The Honduras.

Sadly, a shoulder injury has interrupted those plans and Clint will return to Craven Cottage for further treatment.

His loss will hamper the USA`s chances as Clint, especially in the recent Confederations Cup, was one of the leading lights of the American team.

For our own sakes, I hope the shoulder injury can be quickly sorted and that we`re not looking at too long a lay-off!

This could be good, he has clocked up so many air miles that a spell of two weeks off could be great to kick start his season.

a rest will do him a world of good!

Been a long season when you consider he trawled around SA in the Confederations Cup!
Al Billy
He's becoming a very good player under Hodgson, looks like we got a another bargain, can’t remember exactly how much he cost but it wasn’t a lot by today’s standards
