Fulham - Duff Returns from International Duty!

Sky Sports announced earlier this evening that Damien Duff has withdrawn from the Northern Ireland squad for their remaining two World Cup qualifying games.

Duff, who picked up a calf injury against Arsenal recently, after only eight minutes, will return to Craven Cottage to continue to receive treatment on an injury that was described by Roy Hodgson, as freakish.

We wish Damien well in his recuperation period.

bit daft sending him off on international duty if you ask me!

perhaps he was hoping for divine intervention!

He's on the verge of losing his spot (and should). Gera's played quite well in his absense. Of course, if Dempsey doesn't start producing, Duff might find his way back to left wing.

duff a good player must keep him fit
