Fulham - Dikgacoi on Red Card!

Following Roy Hodgson`s protestations relating to the red card received by our recent South African acquisition, the player himself has also expressed his surprise at the decision.

Now contemplating a three game ban for violent conduct, Kagisho Dikgacoi is quoted in the media as remarking,

"Parker hit me with his head and I pushed away to protect myself."

"I thought it a bit unfair when the ref showed yellow cards to the both of us. But, to my surprise, after consulting the linesman he showed me a red card."

"I was very disappointed with the ref`s decision."

It does seem strange that the verdict was changed by the actions of the linesman but it makes me wonder if an appeal might be considered.

Anyone got any similar thoughts?

I could see it being reduced from three to one, but they rarely back track completely.

we need him at the moment... rather have him in the holding role than greening or riise...

Parker started it, cynical stuff from him, waltzing around the pitch up in arms acting all outraged when he was as bad as our boy!

a strange one but I feel we were stitched up!

not even a sign of an appeal - guilty then I presume!

Surely, a booking would have sufficed.
