'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Greening on Slow Start!

If pressed I`d willingly admit that I can`t see what all the fuss was about when it came to signing Jonathan Greening!

Rumour after rumour covered his potential arrival and although the deal was done as a loan deal it`s implied he`ll move to Craven Cottage permanently next summer.

But I may have been a bit harsh on the lad as all the uncertainty, according to Greening, affected his pre-season build up.

Greening is quoted on Sky Sports as saying about the move and the uncertainty,

'It was going on for about 10 weeks in the end I think so it would have been nice to have come at the start of pre-season and had a full pre-season but it wasn't to be."

'I only came here a week before the start so I have been catching up a bit."

'I do want to stay here, definitely."

'I just have to keep working hard and try to get into the team. I will hopefully get a run of games because everyone needs a few games to get up and running.'

Right! I`m a generous man. I`ll give you until Christmas to make my min dup although a goal at Upton Park today (Sunday) might make a considerable impact.

truth sayer ffc
the way i understand it we're buying him at the end of the season no matter what...

I get the feeling Roy will sign him no matter what but he ain't exactly a spring chicken and he's not impressed me at all. Doesn't seem adventurous enough to take Murphy's place and he isn't as big or controlled in possesion as Etuhu.
AlexFFC
and he earned his corn sat on the bench again yesterday!
Al Billy
how long until Etuhu comes back?
Fulham Badger
that is the golden question!
