UEFA Ignore Fulham Request!

On the eve of the game we ran a short article highlighting our plight relating to our keeper situation.

With David Stockdale injured the club had only one keeper registered in the UEFA listing that was fit to play, Mark Schwarzer.

Therefore, the club went cap in hand to UEFA hoping that they`d give Fulham dispensation to register Pascal Zuberbuhler, in case of injury to our Aussie keeper.

We suspected UEFA, seeing as we`re an English club, would turn a blind eye and that is exactly what they did with Roy Hodgson quoting about the dilemma,

We protested and appealed, they stuck firm by their decision and we abide by it."

"We could be in the same situation against AS Roma."

Thanks a bunch UEFA, thanks a bunch!

Disgraceful from EUFA in my eyes, good win though lads!

it is a bit ridiculous... would they want us to play with an outfield player if schwarzer goes down... wouldn't this give roma incentive to put schwarzer out of the game if we're in the same perdicament come that match?

Must say I'm a little surprised at their decision.
