'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Gera Takes the Honours!

Saturday evening was a little sombre down the pub.

In stark contrast to last season, we`d been beaten at home by Arsenal but in contrast to a few performances given in recent weeks, we`d actually played very well.

There were a lot of positives to take out of the game, most notably the form of Zoltan Gera.

After scoring a wonderful goal at Eastlands in our Carling Cup defeat, Zoltan came off the bench to replace the injured Damien Duff, after a mere eight minutes on Saturday, to give the sort of performance that made 46% of you vote for him as your Fulham man-of-the-match.

Following Zoltan home in the poll were, in second place, Andrew Johnson who polled 21% of the vote and John Pantsil who polled 10%.

Let`s hope Zoltan can keep this fine run of form going.
