Fulham - Is Duff Injury Prone?

It would appear that the injury Damien Duff suffered on Saturday, against Arsenal, is a calf injury.

The club suggests that Duff has been for x-rays as they await news on his fitness ahead of the Europa League fixture with Basel on Thursday evening and then the trip to Upton Park on Sunday.

But, I`m worried!

When the club signed Damien Duff an elderly gentleman in the office at work nodded his head and muttered bad buy.

When quizzed it turned out he was a Blackburn Rovers fan and produced evidence to suggest that the Irishman misses as many games, through injury, as he plays!

Now normally I`d dismiss such words as jealousy but this gentleman is different, he`s a font of knowledge and if challenged willingly produces the facts to back up his claim.

Damien mate, prove him wrong on this occasion and shake off this freakish injury!

seems to pick up more than his fair share of knocks doesn't he?
The Fear
Yes, he's injury prone. I'm not terribly concerned. 1) Overall, I don't think he's played that well. 2) Gera played great after Duff left. 3) Davies gives us the best option of attacking down the flanks, so tactically, it gives us more options. Wouldn't mind seeing him start versus West Ham.

agree teddy... midfield is definitely someplace where we can soak up an injury... let's get 3 points from basel please!
