Fulham - Sleeping Beauty?

I`m probably not wrong in saying that when he arrived John Pantsil was considered to be lesser needed of the two players Roy signed from West Ham with Bobby Zamora being the more exciting player of the duo.

Strange then that Pantsil is now considered to be one of the first names on the team sheet these days!

Whilst every other ember of the usual starting eleven was rested in Sofia, Pantsil continued to go about his business and will, inevitably be selected for the trip to Wolves this Sunday.

Thankfully, the Nigerian shows no signs of tiredness and this is possibly because he`s one of the few people that can switch off and sleep at any time, or as John has remarked to the media recently,

"I rest well, I don`t go out much, I stay at home with my family and I can sleep any time I want. I ca get straight on a plane and get to sleep straight away."

What I`d love to be cut from the same cloth instead of being someone who has a habit of lying awake most of the night struggling to nod off!

What`s the secret John?

Pantsil is Ghanaian, not Nigerian, such a blunder can get you mock-lynched in certain parts of the continent

There was an article with Micheal Essin 2 seasons back when we visited that blue lot. He is also Ghanian (not Nigerian) and he was qouted as saying he would sometimes go to bed, sleep for 12 hours and be late for training. 12 hours? incredible sleeping.
