Fulham - Duff Scoops It!

With the kick off, in Bulgaria, against CSKA Sofia, less than forty-five minutes away, I guess we`d better wrap up one last issue from the Everton game on Sunday.

Who you voted for as the Vital Fulham man of the match.

Interestingly, three players courted most of the votes with two of these not expected to make the starting line up this evening.

Topping the poll was Damien Duff with the scorer of the winning goal obtaining 39% of the vote.

Following Duff home closely was our debutant keeper, David Stockdale who received a healthy 25% of the vote.

In third place, with 20% of the vote was a player who peppered the Everton goal with shots and headers but couldn`t quite get on the score sheet, Clint Dempsey.

Does anyone agree or disagree with how the poll turned out?

Duff is a legend. Great to have back in south west london.. even if it is at the wrong club ;)

made a great save in Sofia tonight - the lad has real potential!

The goal was great, but on the whole, I thought Duff played poorly. I voted for Stockdale.

strange how the scorer of the winning goal emerges triumphant :-)

Aside from the goal, I thought Duff was missing. Already commented earlier about Dempsey's repeated poor decisions on the ball. Stockdale played great. But I voted for Hangeland. He was calm and composed all game. Never rattled and actually had a lot of possession and nice passes. I thought he was by far our most consistent and error free player.
