Fulham - Yet More on Kamara (Groan!)

The will he won`t he saga of Diomansy Kamara going off to enjoy a loan period very soon continues to rumble on!

On Monday we reported how he`d, reputedly, got a strop on because a move had been denied, on Tuesday it looked as if West Bromwich Albion might snatch his services but today the bar-codes are back in a prime spot to land the forward.

The 'Daily Grapevine` is reporting that Newcastle United are once again making moves to sound out the possibility of taking Kamara on loan now that they`re struggling in the striker department.

According to our sources, Newcastle are down to one fit striker and their manager (caretaker or not), Chris Hughton is reported as saying,

"Kamara is one of numerous names we`ve thought about. He scored a lot of goals for West Brom in this division and is a very good player."

He certainly did and the 'Daily Grapevine` is also suggesting that Newcastle are also tracking Daniel Cousin, of Hull, but will only move for one, not both.

We sit poised, fingers ready to report any further news.

if it's going to happen, let it happen already...

would we seriously miss him - probably :-)

Although I would rather he stay the only reason we would miss him is because of a lack of cover. What happens if we let Kamara go and then both Zamora and Johnson pick up knocks? We don't have enough cover upfront as RH clearly doesn't think Nevland can last for the full 90 minutes. The only other person who can play there is Dempsey but that is not his best position. I'd be really surprised if Roy lets him go before the January window gives us an opportunity to replace him

i thnk we have too manny games to let him go
truth sayer ffc
I want him to stay, but would defend Roy's decision. If he goes on loan, it'll be permanent sooner or later...
