Fulham - And the Best Three on a Bad Day Were?

I`m not how we can validate the integrity of our poll; after all it was a performance from hell wasn`t it?

Nevertheless, there were some out on the pitch that appeared to be trying and faring better than others during our 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa so putting the poll up gave us that opportunity to see who you believe those players were.

In the end there were three that rose above the level of mediocrity we showed that Sunday afternoon.

Topping your poll was Damien Duff, who attracted 26% of the vote. The Irishman slogged his guts out even if, most of the time, he was only running up blind alleys.

In second place was Brede Hangeland who polled 17% of the vote again. It was a difficult afternoon for the Norwegian who, pre-match, might have thought he`d be locking horns with Emile Heskey or John Carew. In the event Martin O`Neill fielded the more agile Gabby Agbonlahor in a strikers` role.

Third place went to Paul Konchesky who accumulated 15%of the vote after he did a reasonable job tracking the breaks of James Milner and Ashley Young whilst also attempting to get forward.

We`d like to thank you for our continued participation in our polls, the latest of which features our forthcoming Europa League trips.

Effort aside, Duff is not the player he was at Chelsea. Greening... well what can you say. Thank goodness it's only a loan deal.
