Fulham - Boro Striker Bid Fails!

Although we appear to have signed David Elm as cover for the injured Andrew Johnson, Sky Sports are implying that a much bigger fish got away.

The satellite based broadcaster is running a story that we almost managed to lure the Middlesbrough, and ex-Arsenal forward, Jeremie Aliadiere to Craven Cottage.

The story implies that the deal was all set to go through with the blessing of Middlesbrough Football Club but that it depended upon a replacement being sourced by Garth Southgate, in case Rob Hulse.

That never happened therefore the move of Aliadiere stalled!

i won't miss him... he has flashes of brilliance, but is most often invisible...
woodysweats
to prove your point i have already missed him. He is invisable. Was a rubbish fantasy league buy when he first moved to Boro.

and I can't pronounce his name - don't laugh!
Al Billy
Would have been a pointless signing as his goal record is awful.
