Fulham - Elm Puts Pen to Paper!

As we reported yesterday, Fulham target David Elm was very close to signing on the dotted line.

With the medical reportedly having taken place yesterday all that was left was to discuss personal terms.

These must have been to both parties satisfaction as David Elm put pen to paper with the fee remaining undisclosed.

Speaking about his move from the Swedish club, Kalmar, he had this to say to the official site,

'I am looking forward to training with the team straight away in preparation for some important Premier League and Europa League matches after the international break."

'I have enjoyed my time in Sweden and I am now looking forward to an exciting chapter in my career with Fulham.'

Our only query is why just one year?

Are we unsure as to whether this lad can cut the mustard in the Premier League?

i think he's being brought in to swell the squad while aj and zamora are down... he has a year to impress...

Can't quite figure out the one-year deal either... As you say, we might not be convinced by the young Swedes abilities... Seems weird to sign him then!

one year...then he has to bring his brother back with him?

that sounds more like it!
Al Billy
two Elms up front - does that make us a Forest?

He has height at least...not convinced though as it is a low fee and his goal record isnt good.
