Fulham - Chase Swedish Elm!

With the transfer window set to slam shut on September 1st, seeing as the authorities don`t work Bank Holidays, we can expect a late rush of rumours implicating several players in a last minute move to Craven Cottage.

One name already emerging as a real candidate to become a Fulham player very shortly, in fact some sites go as far as to say he`s already at the medical stage, is David Elm.

David Elm is, our sources confirm, the elder brother of Rasmus Elm who was a supposed target earlier this summer.

The elder of the Elm brothers (unless there are more lurking in the woodwork) is a striker six feet three inches tall who plays for the Swedish side, Kalmar. Hs goal record is nothing sensational but we`d be guessing that with 12 in 64 games for Kalmar he`s seen, by Roy Hodgson, as back-up for Andrew Johnson, Bobby Zamora and Erik Nevland.

Or has he unearthed a gem that`s likely to take the Premier League by storm?

Can't say I've heard of him but then again I'd not heard of Hangeland until Roy signed him!
Al Billy
his height may give us another option up front!
Putney
probably bringing him in for cover, and to give a new look...
woodysweats
apparently there's another borther victor, whom rasmus joined in holland...

He we will come on as cover. He is a big, strong attacker - not spectacular but hard working, good ethics and morals and will suit Fulham as a person I think. He is the least talented of the three Elm brothers (all have played for Kalmar and are born close by(, but not a bad footballer. I think he can be an asset to Fulham and he is a nice guy. (My sister lives as a neighbour to his brother Rasmus...;_)

Also, he has a good shot, his height reinforces that he is a decent header. A solid rather typical Scandinavian footballer I would say.

Might be a solution what we will need upfront, a proper target man. Creating chances for the other forwards and that we need badly, physical presence.
