Fulham - Dempsey Up Front?

With Andrew Johnson definitely missing from the squad available to face Chelsea on Sunday the focus is on who will replace him.

Erik Nevland appears to be the current favourite although Roy Hodgson could turn to Diomansy Kamara.

He also has a third option!

Clint Dempsey has stepped forward and implied that he`d be wiling to do a job up front remarking,

"Wherever the coach wants me to play, I will do my best."

Clint does, as we all recall, have fond memories of playing against Chelsea having scored a brace against them last season, a brace that had him commenting,

"Last season`s game was definitely one of the highlights of my career. Any time you score against a big team who are your local rivals is great."

is there any chance of a repeat performance on Sunday Clint?

well andrew i pefer nevland but dempsey can do a good job and bz seems to be on fire also jo of the bench cant be bad

hahaha hilarious truth sayer... i don't like dempsey up front while aj's hurt... the midfield will settle down and then 5 weeks from now, it'll have to be disrupted again... i think nevland and kamara can fill the void, and hopefully zamora keeps banging in the goals... i do feel like dempsey has a knack for scoring against chelsea, as lampard always seems to put one in against us...
