Fulham - Murphy Reckons Hangeland Should Stay!

Much continues to be made about the possibility of Brede Hangeland moving from Craven Cottage this transfer window.

The media are behaving like a dog with a rag doll refusing to let go and shaking the last drops out of a story we`d all hoped would be dead and buried by now.

Following our opening day win (away from home) our club captain, Danny Murphy, spoke about the situation in an honest and frank manner remarking,

"Hangeland has progressed in the last 18 months, and I think it would do him good to stay with us for another season."

"I hope he signs a new contract - that is down to him. But he is a sensible lad and is in negotiations, and is certainly no someone who is asking for the world."

"He is very aware that Fulham were the club that gave him his chance in the Premier League, and I`m sure he will repay us by staying."

We`d like to think so Danny, we`d certainly like to think so!

WELL SAID DAN THE MAN EVEN MORE OF A KEY PLAYER THEN BRAD KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK DANO

I think he will leave you. Every norwegian has a stupid dream about joining manu, chelski or le arse.....Suddenly he will become THE greatest star in Norway. Just look at Solkjaer.....wouldn't have scored more than 5 goals per season in a club outside top four - and now he is a legend.....

Let's hope for the best, not feeling very confident.

I'm feeling confident that, no matter what happens, things'll be ok in the end, if he stays or goes. Mo will only sell if Roy thinks it's right, or if we receive some looney offer. If Roy thinks it's time he moved on, then Roy is more than likely to be right, and if we get a looney offer, I think many people would bite their hand off.
