Fulham - More Hangeland Rumours!

There are conflicting reports in the Sunday tabloids regarding the future of our Norwegian centre half, Brede Hangeland.

The Sunday Mirror has it down as a certainly that Brede will leave for Arsenal in a £12 million deal before the transfer window shuts. It`s even been forthright enough to provide the names of his possible replacements, namely, Michael Turner (Hull) or Steven Taylor (Newcastle)

In fact the confidence oozing from within their article suggests that the deal will also see the Arsenal player, Carlos Velas, coming to Craven Cottage as part of the deal, on loan.

However, if you pick up the Sunday People though it is an entirely different story with Arsenal emphatically denying they are about to even make a move for Brede and Fulham, in turn, offering the centre back a much improved contract.

I guess we`ll not sleep tight on this affair until that damn window has closed shut!

I hope that we could keep Hangeland at Craven cottage, loose him would be a blow.

Whatever happenes, we can't wait too long as if we loose him we have to get somebody very, very good indeed to replace him. We aren't talking about to replace Kamara!!!

if he were to go, i'd be happy to see vela come in on loan, he's class... but brede's not going... not this transfer window... january will be nervous days, but i think he'll go next summer, and hopefully hull will drop and we can snatch turner away...
