Fulham - Nevland Out of the Frame!

I received an e-mail from a Vital Fulham member, whose name currently escapes me, asking if I believed that our Norwegian striker, Erik Nevland, should get more games.

Rather than offer a reply I thought I`d use our poll facility to see how much sway picking Nevland as one of our two strikers holds with you.

Apparently, reading the results, I`d hazard a guess that you`d only like to see Nevland play if either Bobby Zamora or Andrew Johnson are injured.

Listing several pairs of potential strikers, it was the pairing of Zamora and Johnson that attracted an overwhelming share of the vote - 62%.

In fact, if Zamora were to get injured 14% of you preferred Kamara playing alongside Andrew Johnson as opposed to the 10% who went for Nevland.

But, with the news that Fulham are trying to sign Mark Viduka then I guess the whole situation could change.

Never mind, I guess it was fun whilst it lasted!

He is a great striker to come for the last 25-35 minutes, not the first eleven quality.

Agreed JKW
KBFulham
but if Duff is coming will he be off?
Al Billy
Nevland hasn't the pace or physical presence a striker needs to succeed in the Premiership. I'm not sure he's even good enough to be a reserve.
Sindbad
I THINK THAT MAY HAVE BEEN ME VADUKA IS NOT COMING NEVLAND ALWAYS SEEMS TO GET US GOLES AT THE RIGHT TIME HE HAS BEEN VERY PATIANT HE DESERVES HIS CHANCE I AGREE WITH AL BILLY I DO HOPE WE GET DUFF BUT KNOW SOME NEWCASTLE FANS WHO WILL BE SAD TO SEE HIM GO
truth sayer ffc
PS AND IF HE PLAYS MORE OFTEN HE COULD GET MORE GOLES THEN ZAMORA AND JOHNSON PUT TOGETHER THEY HAVE BOTH HAD THERE CHANCES
truth sayer ffc
Nevland has proved time and again that he can score goals, he is a predator and is clearly good enough for the Premiership, suggestions that he isn't good enough are daft. Everytime I've seen him play he has put the effort in, his positional awareness is great and he's got a touch of skill as well as an eye for a goal. He should have had more of a chance last season than he actually did
donfulham
here here well said don
truth sayer ffc
agreed... he started one the later games last season and created a number of chances... he's worth a go... although is bobby can starting putting goals in the net, it'd be hard to argue against bobby and andy...
